How does the Cluster Wheel work?
The Cluster Wheel algorithms divide up the case law database by similar content (concepts) and put them into buckets/clusters. These clusters can be further divided just by clicking them and the process can be repeated until the clusters are most relevant to your topic of law. It can be very useful to find cases that are similar to one you have already found.
To utilize the Cluster Wheel, click the Graphs icon on the left side bar.
Clicking the “+” icon on one cluster narrows down the search results to just that cluster and its underlying related concepts.
You can undo your refined cluster by clicking the + icon in the center cluster, which will allow you to explore others. You can also return to the dashboard and use the term bar or select a specific metadata field to apply and then come back to the cluster wheel to see it adjust to your new terms.
